Proverbs 4:24-25

Proverbs 4:24-25 Put away from thee a froward mouth, and perverse lips put far from thee. Let thine eyes look right on, and let thine eyelids look straight before thee.

Discipline and good judgement is part of effective discipleship and being a witness to the saving power of Jesus Christ. Our speech has life or death, in like every part of our lives, should reflect Jesus Christ in the truth of the gospel.

Nobody is perfect, but in faith and walking with God your made perfect, and through the work of the Holy Spirit in our sanctification we influence others. We have a choice of who controls “our flesh” desire.

The true, will always war against our desire from time to time, however we choose to allow it to take control, or to claim the power of God in our lives and live differently, to glorify the Lord our God.
