Proverbs 31:8-9

Proverbs 31:8-9 Open thy mouth for the dumb in the cause of all such as are appointed to destruction. Open thy mouth, judge righteously, and plead the cause of the poor and needy.

Whether it be assisting someone who is mute, or in a coma, someone who is disabled or otherwise unable to speak on their own behalf; it is our responsibility seize these situations and “judge righteously“.

Only God is perfectly and Just, but with faith and walking with Him, He makes us perfect… that being said, He has tasked us to seek Him in these situations and “defend the rights of the poor and needy.”

The first step is having the courage to get involved and trust God with the details. He is faithful, and these people need help in a special way. He will lead you as you help.

β€œFor the desires of the flesh are against the Spirit, and the desires of the Spirit are against the flesh, for these are opposed to each other, to keep you from doing the things you want to do.” (Galatians 5:17), ‘Temptation’
