Proverbs 29:21

Proverbs 29:21
He that delicately bringeth up his servant from a child shall have him become his son at the length.

Four of some translations use the word "pamper" to describe the way you should not bring up a child.

Pamper means, "to treat or gratify with extreme or excessive indulgence, kindness, or care". The translations describe the possible outcomes as a "weakling" (NET), insolent (NIV), and a rebel (NLT).

Raising a child in the way they should go includes discipline throughout their up-bringing which communicates that they are under authority; just like we all are under the authority of Yahweh and responsible to love one another.
