Proverbs 26:23 Burning lips and a wicked heart are like a potsherd covered with silver dross.
Luke 6:44-45 says, “Each tree is recognized by its own fruit. People do not pick figs from thorn bushes, or grapes from briers. A good man brings good things out of the good stored up in his heart, and an evil man brings evil things out of the evil stored up in his heart. For the mouth speaks what the heart is full of.” Part of the evil talk that Jesus speaks about here will sound really great, but does not come from a heart that is committed to the loving truth of the gospel.
Take courage and seek the Lord for discernment and wisdom to weed out the hypocrites, and to gain counsel from those willing to share Your love. Lord God, frustrate the plans of those who seek to do evil by smooth talk that comes from their own interests. We praise the ohh Lord God Your lovekindness endours forever!
