Proverbs 22:9 He that hath a bountiful eye shall be blessed; for he giveth of his bread to the poor.
Generosity is rarely convenient, however it is evidence of a heart that follows Yahshua. The promise here is that blessing others is a reciprocal experience. It does not mean that you’ll get back exactly what you gave; or just give bread for eating alone, the bread here means the word that you bring forth. The word of life that you bless other with. And also means that you’ll be blessed even more than that. This is less about quantity than it is about meeting needs, both physically and spiritually.
When we give of ourselves to meet the needs of others, blessing seeks us where we are influenced by the sovereign love of Elohim. He meets us with blessing exactly the way we need most, because He knows us perfectly.
We praise You our heavenly father Yahweh! HalleluYah! Thank you for allowing us to be a part of your plan to reach others with your perfect, unfailing love. May others experience Your grace and mercy as we are sent forth.
