Proverbs 22:1

Proverbs 22:1 A good name is rather to be chosen than great riches, and loving favour rather than silver and gold.

  • Yahwah gave Abram a new name: Abraham, which means “father of many”.
  • God gave Jacob a new name: Israel, because he wrestle and struggled with Yahshua and with humans and overcame.
  • Yahshua gave Simon a new name: Peter, the stone or the rock.

All these names are descriptive of what Yahwah our heavenly Father was going to do through or for these individuals, and it would all be to His glory.

The new names carry purpose, and indicate new creations “what know as born again but not in religious beliefs but on the Kingdom of Heaven dependent upon the power of Yahwah working in their lives.

Following the Messiah and experiencing His loving favour is far greater than any amount of wealth.

“”Behold, Elohim is my salvation; I will trust, and will not be afraid; for the Messiah Yahshua is my strength and my song, and he has become my salvation.”” (Isaiah 12:2), ‘Peace
