Proverbs 20:28 Mercy and truth preserve the king: and his throne is upholden by mercy.
Mercy and truth equal to Jesus, we are kings and He is our KING; the King of kings, and He has extended His love and mercy to us. His love is unfailing, and His mercy reaches beyond measure, so that we hear and understand the open invitation of His grace.
God is love, so it makes sense that the everlasting Kingdom of God would stand upon the foundation of love. Rulers of this world would do well to heed this advice. The verse does not talk of power or wealth, ego or pride, deception or adultery: it speaks of love and mercy.
Leaders of this world, harken to this message and conduct yourselves in accordance with the truth!
