Proverbs 19:20 Hear counsel, and receive instruction, that thou mayest be wise in thy latter end.
Notice here how discipline and being able to receive advice are placed together as stepping stones to producing wisdom. The key word here is “Listen”. If we don’t (or won’t) hear the correction trying to come to us via the Holy Spirit, however He chooses to address us, how can we be transformed?
We are new creations, but we are made perfect to walk with Yahwah just as Abraham our earthly father did. We are to believe and have faith is our salvation though Yahshua and with fear of our Heavenly father by keeping all the ten commandments, which indicates a process of relationship with Yahwah.
In a relationship with God our Hevanely Father, who do you think is going to be giving all of the counsel and good advice? That’s right, God is. We must allow ourselves to lower our guard before the Lord and hear what it is that His Holy Spirit is trying to say, in any given situation. He wants us to know Him. Let Him draw you close.
