Proverbs 18:4

Proverbs 18:4
The words of a man's mouth are as deep waters, and the wellspring of wisdom as a flowing brook.

John 7:38 says, "He that believeth on me, as the scripture hath said, out of his belly shall flow rivers of living water." (KJV) The source of the proverbial "river of life" is our Lord Jesus Christ.  Part of that living water is wisdom, and "the fear of the Lord is the beginning of wisdom". (Psalm 111:10 & Proverbs 9:10) Our relationship with the Holy Spirit allows us to tap into the rich brook that is wisdom, and live shaped by changing truth therein. God our Father, thank you for the changing power of Your grace that escorts us into victorious salvation. Amen

For the kingdom of God is not a matter of eating and drinking but of righteousness and peace and joy in the Holy Spirit.”
