Proverbs 18:23 The poor useth intreaties; but the rich answereth roughly.
I think this is one of the reasons why our Yahwah has a heart for the poor and destitute. He is poised and ready to receive those who cannot help themselves and are willing to approach the throne of grace as they are, without pretence or lies.
In fact, the rich young ruler who came before Yahshua may have been an example of someone who was unable to plead for mercy before Yahshua.
Not only does that man tell Yahshua that he has kept all the commandments from his youth, but upon Yahshua revealing to him that there is one thing he lacks to follow Him - the ruler goes away from Messiah saddened. This is because in the Kingdom everything belong to the King; The Lord " The Owner" to whom you submit too. The young man did want to follow the order of the king so he wasn't ready to submit to his King. Since the King has the right to distribute good's to any of his citizen is pleased.
Where was the desperate need? Where was this young man's depravity before the Holy One of God?
