Proverbs 17:12 Let a bear robbed of her whelps meet a man, rather than a fool in his folly.
Can you imagine meeting a mother bear being robbed of her cubs? At a glance, we can see the hint of humour in the above proverb, some flare to drive home the point. In both meetings, innocent people will get hurt.
The term use to describe both the fool and the mother bear here is called, “blindsight”. They only see what they care about at the expense of all else. The mother bear will not stop raging until she has her cubs back, and may not even stop then. The fool will not stop fooling around until foolishness is complete. Steer clear and avoid the fallout.
