Proverbs 17:10 A reproof entereth more into a wise man than an hundred stripes into a fool.
A rebuke, while it may feel harsh or unwelcome initially, is a blessing. A fool will constantly ignore or justify their cause in the face of a rebuke, while a discerning human will prayerfully step through the situation.
When one believer rebukes another, it is a blessing because it serves the Christ, and is offered to protect the integrity of the gospel the good news of the kingdom of heaven. Nobody is perfect and we work together for perfection, and we’re all in this together.
