Proverbs 16:27
An ungodly man diggeth up evil: and in his lips there is as a burning fire.
When I read this verse I think of politics and every election in every country of this world. A media frenzy ensues and campaigns begin a barrage of double-edged sword marketing. One side of the marketing is bent on delivering to you who a candidate is, while the other side "digs up evil" on their competitors and publicises it to discredit them.
Manipulation and lip service ensues, and the scorching fire blazes on. Who is perfect in this world? Only our Lord Jesus Christ lived without sin. So what do we do? We must rely on guidance from the Spirit of God, and wisdom from Him.
