Proverbs 15:33
The fear of the LORD is the instruction of wisdom; and before honour is humility.
This is how it is supposed to be: humility before honour. If it was Yahweh our Father doing the honouring, this is always how it would be. Make no mistake, ultimately we will be judged by Yahshua The Messiah and every knee will bow before Him.
Yet today, as we live in light of Yahweh's fervent and glorious mercy, some folks receive a type of honour that they did not earn this way. If you stand in a place of honour and have not earned that station rightly, it is only a matter of time before you will be brought low. We all need to humble ourselves before the Lord Yahshua, and recognise His authority and sovereignty in our lives.
“But it shall not be so among you: but whosoever will be great among you, let him be your minister;,”
