Proverbs 11:28 He that trusteth in his riches shall fall; but the righteous shall flourish as a branch.
The righteous trust in Yahshua before anything else. Their lifestyles reflect that He is first in their lives, and they stand firm in faith in Him through trial, through temptation, through the storms of life.
Those who trust in riches rely on their riches like the righteous rely upon Yahshua. They look to their wealth first for their provision, their worth, and their identity.
Trusting in Yahshua doesn’t mean that you cannot have wealth, but it does mean that wealth takes a back seat to our desperate need for Messiah, and our living depending fully upon His grace. Yahshua paid full price and gave it all so that He can give us the Kingdom back after taking it away from satan; plus He could be at the helm of our lives. Surrender all to Him! As He surrender all to our heavenly Father Yahweh.
