Proverbs 11:14 Where no counsel is, the people fall: but in the multitude of counsellors there is safety.
No one is able to rule a nation without wisdom if they are by themselves. Counsel is necessary to cultivate an atmosphere where wisdom can be found.
Yahwah is in three divine persons in One, and is always in community with Himself. Likewise, the Holy Spirit working in us and cultivates a relationship that is able to seek out wisdom.
However, it is also important to have other people as “advisers” too, because it affirms an atmosphere of accountability: the idea that whatever is decided will be held to, and those who are advising take steps to ensure that the decisions that have been made are in fact made and followed through on! It’s checks and balances, because each individual working alone is utterly fallible, and would lead a nation to ruin all by themselves.
