Proverbs 10:21

Proverbs 10:21 The lips of the righteous feed many: but fools die for want of wisdom.

The teaching of the righteous speaks life. Philippians 4:8, “Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.”

Those who are able to think upon such things, will have done well in being prepared to speak likewise. Ephesians 4:15 “Instead, speaking the truth in love, we will grow to become in every respect the mature body of him who is the head, that is, the Messiah.” We have a choice in how we use our words, and the mark of foolishness is to choose malicious talk, gossip, slander, or any other kind of words that tear down others.

Matthew 15:11 , “What goes into someone’s mouth does not defile them, but what comes out of their mouth, that is what defiles them.”

“The soul who sins shall die. The son shall not suffer for the iniquity of the father, nor the father suffer for the iniquity of the son. The righteousness of the righteous shall be upon himself, and the wickedness of the wicked shall be upon himself.” (Ezekiel 18:20 )
