Proverbs 26:27

Proverbs 26:27 Whoso diggeth a pit shall fall therein: and he that rolleth a stone, it will return upon him.

The NLT version; “If you set a trap for others, you will get caught in it yourself. If you roll a Boulder down on others, it will crush you instead” Its provides a bit of insight. If you are rolling a boulder down on someone, you have an advantage.

Perhaps people have been placed under your authority in some way and you have a great role: pastor, parent, supervisor and mentor.

This verse is a call to take seriously that responsibility, and take seriously how we treat one another in Jesus Christ “Yahshua The Messiah“. If we wish harm upon another, we guarantee harm and corruption for ourselves.

“Act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with your God.” (Micah 6:8)

Bring forth therefore fruits meet for repentance: (Matthew 3:8)
