What Does The Bible Says About Christmas Day

What Does The Bible Says About Christmas Day

  1. Christmas Day is nowhere mentioned in the Bible.
This is rather obvious, but most people never question about this, since many of our generation have grown and tough errors since birth. That why bible call us lost generation. Heb_3:10  “Wherefore I was grieved with that generation, and said, They do alway err in their heart; and they have not known my ways.”The books of the New Testament cover 30+ years of Jesus Christ’s life, then another 30+ years of the early Church following His death and resurrection, but nowhere do we find any hint of a Christmas celebration or anything remotely mention regarding this festival like it.
  2. Jesus wasn’t born on on our so call Christmas day or near December 25. nowhere in the Bible that written when our messiah was born. Also,
Luke 2:1-4 ” And it came to pass in those days, that there went out a decree from Caesar Augustus, that all the world should be taxed. (And this taxing was first made when Cyrenius was governor of Syria.) And all went to be taxed, every one into his own city. And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) ” This clearly shows that Jesus was born in Bethlehem because his parents came to that town to register in a Roman census. The Romans were well known as highly efficient administrators. It would have made no sense to have conducted a census in the dead of winter, when temperatures often dropped below freezing and travelling was difficult due to poor road conditions. Taking a census under such conditions would have been self-defeating!. still do u remember those shepherds who were “living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night”? (Luke 2:8-9). “And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night. And, lo, the angel of the Lord came upon them, and the glory of the Lord shone round about them: and they were sore afraid.”On the month of December, weather around Bethlehem is often miserably cold, wet and rainy. No shepherd in his right mind would have being out and about keeping his flocks at night at that time of year!
  3. What do decorated evergreen trees, holly, mistletoe, yule logs, a jolly plump man in a fur-lined red suit, sleighs and flying reindeer have to do with the birth of Jesus Christ? None of these things have anything to do with birth of our messiah, but they have a lot to do with ancient pagan festivals. Even the Lord knew it will come to manifest and He warn us through prophet Jeremiah. Jer 10:1-5  Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them.  For the customs of the people are vain: for one cutteth a tree out of the forest, the work of the hands of the workman, with the axe. They deck it with silver and with gold; they fasten it with nails and with hammers, that it move not. They are upright as the palm tree, but speak not: they must needs be borne, because they cannot go. Be not afraid of them; for they cannot do evil, neither also is it in them to do good.

After reading more in the Holy Bible we also discover that the Tree is a symbol of Satan himself, would it have mean that Yahawah our Father also was telling us that Satan would deceive people and worship him under s as a tree. Let take look of few verse and get understanding and let the Holy spirit guide you. Eze_31:8  “The cedars in the garden of God could not hide him: the fir trees were not like his boughs, and the chesnut trees were not like his branches; nor any tree in the garden of God was like unto him in his beauty.”
  4. We are allowed and commanded to celebrate Holy Days given from above which even Jesus Christ and the apostles observed and celebrated. But do our generation know about them?Yahawashi The Messiah and the apostles plainly kept God’s Holy Days and festivals that we find recorded in Leviticus 23-44 you will find Feasts of the Lord;  The Sabbath “Six days shall work be done: but the seventh day is the sabbath of rest“, The Passover “fourteenth day of the first month“, The Feast of Firstfruits, The Feast of Weeks and The Feast of Trumpets lastly The Feast of Booths.Jesus and His apostles kept the Passover Matthew 26:17 “Now the first day of the feast of unleavened bread the disciples came to Jesus, saying unto him, Where wilt thou that we prepare for thee to eat the passover?”, John 2:13And the Jews’ passover was at hand, and Jesus went up to Jerusalem,” and the festival of shelters John 7:2-10 Now the Jews’ feast of tabernacles was at hand. His brethren therefore said unto him, Depart hence, and go into Judaea, that thy disciples also may see the works that thou doest. For there is no man that doeth any thing in secret, and he himself seeketh to be known openly. If thou do these things, shew thyself to the world. For neither did his brethren believe in him.
Joh 7:6  Then Jesus said unto them, My time is not yet come: but your time is alway ready. The world cannot hate you; but me it hateth, because I testify of it, that the works thereof are evil. Go ye up unto this feast: I go not up yet unto this feast; for my time is not yet full come. When he had said these words unto them, he abode still in Galilee. But when his brethren were gone up, then went he also up unto the feast, not openly, but as it were in secret.
  5. Christmas Day and it celebration are totally missing from the biblical record. Many people in this generation and last gone and the worst to come total don’t know that the Bible includes festival to celebrate and not for shopping. The whole list of festivals that God commanded are found in bible which even Jesus Himself observed and that the apostles and early Church were still keeping decades after Christ’s death and resurrection. Question is should Christians celebrate Christmas day? Big No and We don’t think is a good idea from bible view.
  6. Sticking to bible that hold the truth you will never go wrong by following the example of Jesus Christ Himself and the apostles and early Church. They never celebrated Christmas or even the birthday of The Messiah even the other birthday that pegan or heathen has introduce and manifested during our erroneous generation. They knew what the Scriptures said about trying to use other religions’ practices to worship and honour God. It just doesn’t work; God expects us not to follow heathen and go their lost any ways. It’s a shame that many of us have don’t seek for truth or even search Bible and history to learn for themselves the true origins of Christmas. It’s an eye-opening study, that many need to learn and seek God Yahawah and know about Him and His ways. Than relying on human traditions that have driven us astray from our heavenly Father.Research on the origin of Christmas day and it foundation and you will conclude whether is for people of God to celebrate and be merry in to it. Just a hint why spell and pronounce different and why short cut the spelling to XMAS. This day is not celebrating the birth of our Messiah rather than the reborn of Tammuz son of Nimrod.

What is the History of Christmas?

Origin of Christmas

Quotes from; Catholic Encyclopaedia.
1911 edition “Christmas was not among the earliest festivals of the church… the first evidence of the feast is from Egypt.”

Quotes from; Encyclopaedia Americana.
1944 Edition Christmas “was, according to many authorities, not celebrated in the first centuries of the Christian church, as the Christian usage in general was to celebrate the death of remarkable person rather than their birth.

Why do People Celebrate Christmas?

A feast was established in memory of this event [Christ’s birth] in the fourth century. In the fifth century the Western Church ordered it to be celebrated forever on the day of the Roman feast of the birth of Sol, as no certain knowledge of the day of Christ’s birth existed.”

Quotes from; The Encyclopaedia Britannica. “What day is Christmas?” “Christmas Pagan Holiday”
Subject of Christmas.
“The reason why Christmas came to be celebrated on December 25 remains uncertain, but most probably the reason is that early Christian wished the date to coincide with the pagan Roman festival marking the ‘birthday of the unconquered sun.’”

How did Christmas become a Holiday?

The Plain Truth about Christmas. Herbert W. Armstrong
“But remember, these people had grown up in pagan customs, chief of which was this idolatrous festival of December 25. It was a festival of merrymaking, with its special spirit. They enjoyed it! They didn’t want to give it up! .. [T]he influence of the pagan Manichaeism which identified the son of God with the physical sun, gave theses pagans of the fourth century, now turning over wholesale to ‘Christianity,’ their excuse for calling their pagan-festival date of December 25 (birthday of the sun god), the birthday of the son of God. And that is how ‘Christmas’ became softened on our Western world! We may call it by another name, but it’s the same old pagan sun-worshipping festival still! The only change is in what we call it.”

Is Christmas day 25 really celebration of The Messiah?

Let look bible verses for the actual account of Yahawashia “Jesus Christ” birth and the ideal season He could have being born. Shepherd who were abiding in the field give us the collect ideal as we know shepherd didn’t live with the sheep on winter season. It has to be sometime in the spring or early fall ‘early autumn’. Christmas 25 date is now where near the date or month Christ was born and it support to be celebration of The Messiah.

Luk 2:4-8 And Joseph also went up from Galilee, out of the city of Nazareth, into Judaea, unto the city of David, which is called Bethlehem; (because he was of the house and lineage of David:) To be taxed with Mary his espoused wife, being great with child. And so it was, that, while they were there, the days were accomplished that she should be delivered. And she brought forth her firstborn son, and wrapped him in swaddling clothes, and laid him in a manger; because there was no room for them in the inn. And there were in the same country shepherds abiding in the field, keeping watch over their flock by night.

Quote from; Encyclopaedia “Christmas was a pagan holiday”
15th Edition, subject of Christmas
“Christmas customs are an evolution from times that long antedate the Christion period –a descent from seasonal, pagan, religious, and national practices, hedged about with legend and tradition.”

How long has Christmas been Around?

600 year before the ministry of Yahawashia, the word of Yahawah to Jeremiah “origin of the Christmas tree” “Is Christmas a Pagan Holiday?”

Christmas Tree Origin Pagan.

Jer 10:1-6 Hear ye the word which the LORD speaketh unto you, O house of Israel: Thus saith the LORD, Learn not the way of the heathen, and be not dismayed at the signs of heaven; for the heathen are dismayed at them. Forasmuch as there is none like unto thee, O LORD; thou art great, and thy name is great in might.

Corinthians 7:17 Paul: Co 6:17-18 Wherefore come out from among them, and be ye separate, saith the Lord, and touch not the unclean thing; and I will receive you, And will be a Father unto you, and ye shall be my sons and daughters, saith the Lord Almighty.

Isa 40:18-20 To whom then will ye liken God? or what likeness will ye compare unto him? The workman melteth a graven image, and the goldsmith spreadeth it over with gold, and casteth silver chains. He that is so impoverished that he hath no oblation chooseth a tree that will not rot; he seeketh unto him a cunning workman to prepare.

Jer 10:23-25 O LORD, I know that the way of man is not in himself: it is not in man that walketh to direct his steps. O LORD, correct me, but with judgment; not in thine anger, lest thou bring me to nothing. Pour out thy fury upon the heathen that know thee not, and upon the families that call not on thy name: for they have eaten up Jacob, and devoured him, and consumed him, and have made his habitation desolate. a graven image, that shall not be moved.
