Book of Hosea

The Book of Hosea is one of the books of the Hebrew Bible. As per the conventional request of most Hebrew Bibles, it is the first of the twelve Minor Prophets.

Set around the fall of the Northern Kingdom of Israel, the Book of Hosea condemns the love of divine beings other than Yahweh, figuratively contrasting Israel’s deserting of Yahweh with a lady being unfaithful to her better half. As indicated by the book’s account, the connection amongst Hosea and his unfaithful spouse Gomer is tantamount to the connection amongst Yahweh and his unfaithful individuals Israel. The possible compromise of Hosea and Gomer is dealt with as a cheerful representation for the inevitable compromise amongst Yahweh and Israel.
